LIVING HEALTHY IS THE WILL OF GOD

Look upon Zion, the city of our solemnities…And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick…(Isaiah 33:20, 24).

The city the prophet is referring to is Zion, the city of the living God, and you were born into Zion the moment you were born again (Hebrews 12:22-23). The reason the citizens of Zion won’t say they are sick isn’t that they’re avoiding wrong confessions; rather, it’s because they don’t get sick! They are the possessors of eternal life, and that life destroys sickness, repels diseases and annuls infirmities.

To some people, this sounds absurd, because they feel it’s not possible for anyone to be perpetually healthy. But that’s the life Jesus brought to us. That’s what His death, burial and resurrection accomplished for us. John the apostle said, “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth” (3 John 1:2). Now notice that he didn’t say, “...I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be healed…” rather, He said “that thou mayest prosper and be in health.” He’s talking about you living in divine health, and not merely getting healed. You see, healing is good, but it’s the children’s bread. It’s the lesser light. Walking in divine health is the greater light. You’ve got to underand this truth. When you’re living in divine health, you don’t need healing, because you don’t get sick.

Someone says, “But what if I feel sick?” “Can’t I say how I feel?” No! Remember that our confessions rule us.So speak the Word. You need to know that the presence of symptoms is not proof of sickness. The symptoms shouldn’t change your confession that divine health is yours in the now. Therefore, eradicate the sickness talk from your vocabulary completely. If you maintain your faith-confession that divine health is your present hour-possession, your body will be literally immune to all sickness, infirmity and disease.

We’ve been called to live a sickness-free and disease-free life. As you grow in Christ, it’s important that you leave the good things for the best. Thus you ought to transcend the level of needing healing from God, to living everyday in divine health. This is your birthright as a child of God.

CONFESSION
Dear Father, I thank you for the divine life at work in me! I’m impregnable to sickness or disease, because I’m a partaker of the divine nature. I refuse to live in the dark or function by the lesser light. Rather, I function in God’s greater light concerning my health. Divine health is my portion; I live in strength and vitality everyday of my life. Amen!

Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
